Nature de Pain is a sourdough bakery in Spy, part of the municipality of Jemeppe-sur-Sambre. The bread is baked with flour from La Ferme de l’Espinette in Beauvechain, itself an Atelier Web client. That is how we met: one client referred the other.
A small bakery doesn’t need an extensive site, but it does need one that’s accurate. Anyone searching for a baker in Spy should see straight away where the shop is, when it’s open and what’s on the shelves. And anyone new to sourdough wants to understand why the bread tastes different and keeps longer.
We made a compact website with that information and the bakery’s story: the slow rise, the flour from a nearby farm, the bond between miller and baker. We also set up a Facebook page, because for daily posts about what’s been baked that day it is the most practical channel.
