Website for Bikesensation, Dirk's bike shop in Beernem: electric mountain bike hire, bike leasing and MTB clinics, each with its own entry point.

Bikesensation is Dirk Baert’s bike shop in Beernem. Dirk spent years building it up, and it shows: a good-looking shop with a sleek interior where service comes first. Besides selling bikes, he hires out electric mountain bikes, arranges bike leasing for people cycling through their employer and runs MTB clinics.
How we met is a story in itself. Louis had long wanted a bike shop as a client, and he was looking for a gravel bike of his own. So he wrote to a lot of bike shops with an offer: I buy my bike from you, you let me build your website. Dirk said yes.
There wasn’t much to start from. Bikesensation only had a so-called website at wvlo.be/bikesensation, with no domain of its own. The competitor analysis soon made the consequence clear: the shop had almost no reach on Google, and people nearby searching for a bike shop or e-MTB hire ended up elsewhere.
At Dirk’s request the new site is modern and full of animation, showing off the shop’s sleek interior. Hire, leasing and clinics each got their own section, because a family hiring an e-MTB for a weekend, an employee trying to understand the company leasing scheme and a rider wanting to sharpen their technique all ask different questions.
Since the site went live on bikesensation.be in spring 2025, Bikesensation has ranked first for its main searches. Hundreds of visitors come by every month, three quarters of them through Google, and the shop sees the effect in its figures too.
