People can't find me on Google

Getting found on Google and in ChatGPT: how we go about it

Getting found starts with a site that Google and AI assistants understand, and continues with a well-kept Google Business Profile, genuine reviews and follow-up after launch. We handle all of it, with honest expectations: nobody can promise you the number one spot.

  1. Keywords before copy

We find out which words your customers really use, per service and per town, and write your pages around them.

  2. Technical SEO built in

Fast loading, structured data, clear titles and meta descriptions, a sitemap and a clean structure on every page.

  3. Search Console connected

Every site is registered in Google Search Console, so we see which searches you appear for and fix problems quickly.

  4. Google Business Profile in shape

We create or improve your Google Maps listing: categories, opening hours, photos, services and a link to the right page.

  5. More Google reviews

We help you collect reviews from happy customers, with a simple link and a set moment to ask for them.

  6. Visible in AI answers

Clear answers, structured data and the same business details everywhere, so ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews describe your business correctly.

Why can’t customers find you on Google?

It’s rarely one thing. The site uses different words from the customer, such as “sanitary installations” where people type “plumber Leuven”. The Google Business Profile is missing or half filled in. The site is slow on a phone. Or Google simply doesn’t know which towns you work in, because it isn’t written anywhere on the site.

Each of these looks minor on its own. Together they decide whether you’re on page one or page three, where nobody looks any more.

Chauffage Bouchat in Gembloux is a good example. Their previous site couldn’t be found on Google, so no enquiries came in. With a new site built to be found, enquiries now come in steadily.

What do we do for your Google visibility?

The work starts before a single line of copy is written. First we find the words your customers use, service by service and town by town. Those search terms shape the structure of the site: which pages it has, what they’re called and what goes on them.

Technically, the site is built the way Google likes it: fast, mobile-friendly, with clear titles and meta descriptions, a sitemap and structured data that says what your business is, where it is and what it offers. Every site is connected to Google Search Console, so we can see which searches you appear for and catch problems early.

What does your Google Business Profile have to do with it?

A lot. When someone searches “electrician near me” or “bakery Bierbeek”, Google often shows a map with three businesses before the regular results. Those spots come from Google Business Profiles. We create or improve yours: the right categories, opening hours, photos, services and a link to the best page on your site.

Reviews matter a great deal here. We help you collect them from happy customers, with a simple link and a set moment to ask, for example after an installation or a stay.

How do you get found in ChatGPT and other AI assistants?

More and more people skip Google and ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or the AI summary at the top of Google instead: “Who’s a good joiner near Leuven?” Those tools build their answer from information they find and trust.

So we write your pages with clear answers to the questions customers really ask, with the answer in the first sentence. We add structured data and make sure your name, address and phone number are identical everywhere: on your site, in your Google Business Profile and in business directories. An llms.txt file is a small extra; its effect isn’t proven, but it costs almost nothing.

We’ll be straight with you: nobody can guarantee that an AI assistant will name your business. What we can do is make sure every building block is right.

Does the work stop at launch?

No, and that’s where many sites stall. Google keeps changing, competitors keep moving and your own offer evolves. So we follow your site after launch. We check in Search Console where you’re rising or falling, fix technical warnings and suggest new pages, for example for a town or service people are searching for.

That’s part of the yearly maintenance package, together with hosting, the domain, updates, backups, security and small changes. One contact for everything about your business online: Louis.

Questions about this

How long before my site ranks well on Google?

You usually see the first improvements after a few weeks to a few months. How fast depends on your sector, your region and the competition.

What is a Google Business Profile?

It's your business listing shown in Google Maps and next to the search results, with your address, opening hours, photos and reviews. For local searches it's often the first thing customers see.

Can you guarantee the top spot on Google?

No, and nobody can honestly promise that. What we do is everything Google and AI assistants need to understand and show your business, and we keep following it up.

How do I show up in ChatGPT's answers?

With a site that clearly answers the questions customers ask, structured data and the same name, address and phone number everywhere. A good Google Business Profile and reviews help a lot.

What is llms.txt and do I need it?

It's a small text file that gives AI tools an overview of your site. Its effect isn't proven yet, but it costs next to nothing, so we add it by default.

Do you follow up after launch?

Yes. We check Search Console regularly, fix issues and suggest new pages or changes where they're worth it.
